Pepi's Pizza became reality in 1962 when the late Ron Firmi opened its doors at the corner of Water and Weber streets in Kitchener. There were many naysayers: folks who thought he was crazy - that pizza would never really catch on. It goes without saying that they were horribly wrong. Pepi's Pizza was not only one of the original fast-food restaurants in the area; it is now considered one of the best in the region.....
The original restaurant, approaching a half-century in business. is still cooking up delicious pizzas, and is still owned and operated by the Firmi family. Two more locations have opened over the years. The Three locations boasting "The best dressed pizza in town" serve all of Kitchener/Waterloo and parts of Preston (Cambridge).
